The Product Specialist is responsible for supporting all technical aspects of the pre-sales process for the sale of VersionOne products. This includes being able to articulate technology related to the VersionOne product to customers while maintaining strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.
This role is ideal for someone ready to transition from technical support, development or project management into technical sales. The right individual is passionate, consultative in nature (asks appropriate questions to discover needs), and even better at listening.
Create engaging product demonstrations that meet the expressed and latent needs of VersionOne prospects
Answer agile process and product related questions during customer trials
Collaborate with Account Specialists on the most effective way to move customers through the sales process
Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and Security Reviews for prospects
Write knowledge base articles that address common questions
Passionate about agile software development methodologies
Experience supporting tools that assist in the software development lifecycle
Must be a team player with outstanding interpersonal skills
Self-starter, requiring minimal supervision with a can-do attitude
Highly detailed oriented with strong analytical aptitude
Excellent communication skills and exceptional listening skills
Potential for up to 30% travel
BA or BS in a related field or equivalent experience
