SUMMARY:
Working under a manufacturing technician, the Technician provides supportive technical assistance for product processing. Such assistance includes the introduction of new or revised products. Such assistance may include working with outside vendors or with other manufacturing personnel, or will require performing the initial production of new products. Using established parameters the Technician will work on determining sequences, tooling, fixtures, and the setup of cellular manufacturing. Technician will actively be involved in documenting procedures and the transfer of information to assure quality is maintained in the production process. The Technician will actively be involved in tasks which include machining, welding, assembly, testing, and packaging. Strong emphasis on mechanical abilities including the use of hand and power tools, multimeters, verniers, micrometers, etc.

This position requires adherence to all safety rules and regulations at this facility. Additionally, duties of this position will be carried out within the guidelines of Inertia Dynamics Quality Policy Statement. This person must be able to read and build from product drawings. They also must be able to clearly communicate in writing and verbally.

QUALIFICATIONS and COMPETENCIES:
Skills and knowledge required would generally be acquired with two or more years of formal education beyond high school followed by several years of related job experience. A&D experience preferred.

High School education or equivalent; 2 year technical school preferred
