Provides accurate and timely gathering, processing and analysis of production data from multiple sources. Duties include set-up of meters and wells, maintenance of the production database, upload of production data to accounting, communication with interest owners, and regulatory reporting on a timely basis. Maintenance of the database requires troubleshooting problems and assisting in the development of applications to check work product. The position also requires the undertaking of a variety of production related projects, including production research, verification and fulfillment of state and federal regulatory requests. Position requires the performance of monthly SOX requirements and periodic review of SOX processes. Training will be provided to develop competence in any software that is not previously required to perform job duties.
Must possess proficient analytical, interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Must have ability to cultivate good relationships with accounting, operators, field personnel and state and/or federal agencies. Must be highly proficient with computer usage, including abilities with MS Office; ten-key by touch is required. Must be willing to learn new applications to develop competence in any software that is required for the position. This includes changes to systems used by other operators. Ability to access the Internet for commercial or public production data sources and ability to use TOW is a plus. Must keep current with and implement any regulatory changes.
A minimum of 2 years experience in the oil and gas industry or an Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Business or related field is essential.
