The Production Artist will serve as a designer of minor changes to marketing materials for BCBST LOBs, including commercial, government, Medicare and specialty products. The Production Artist will also provide support for all stocked marketing materials through weekly reports that entail collateral reviews, client approvals and reprint processes.
The Production Artist will ensure that all print materials meet BlueCross BlueShield Association, CMS, Government, Corporate and/or post office standards in branding, style and quality. Must work in a fast pace environment. The incumbent will prioritize print projects based on client need, using project tracking software and procurement requisition processes.
The Production Artist must possess advance knowledge of a variety of Mac/Windows based design software packages, including Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office. In addition, the incumbent will possess the knowledge of print production and multi-platform internal processes.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Create print production requests through project tracking software
Design and maintenance of marketing materials that conforms to Association, CMS, Government, Corporate and/or post office standards
Support stock review and reprint processes
Develop/maintain relationships with Procurement, Internal Print Services, Outgoing Mail, Fulfillment, Warehouse and Regional Offices
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Art, Communications or relevant work experience.
3-5 years creating/modifying printed marketing materials
Advanced knowledge of Mac/Windows software, including Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong understanding of print production process, including paper/ink requirements, binding and finishes
Ability to work in fast-pace environment and prioritize responsibilities accordingly
Strong organizational, communication and project management skills
