A process / production engineer will monitor, troubleshoot and optimize operating units to drive process and product improvements. This person will apply technical knowledge to detect causes of deviations in quality, capacity, yield and energy consumption. The individual will identify, recommend and implement strategic projects to improve unit performance. A process / production engineer will also support process design and implementation of capital projects. These activities require a person in this position to optimally balance day-to-day operational priorities with longer term strategic objectives to ensure alignment with company goals. The individual will contribute in a team environment and establish working relationships with onsite and offsite functional groups to achieve results. In addition, the candidate must communicate effectively with all levels of individuals within and outside of the company. Based on experience level of person filling this position they may also be expected to mentor and develop less experienced engineers as well as delivering required technical training to others.
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
Requires 3 years of process or production engineering experience in a refining, petrochemical, or chemical process environment.
Ideal candidate will possess 7 years experience in a refining, petrochemical, or chemical process environment with long term goal of becoming an epert in EO/EG technologies.

Strong technical orientation.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability collaborate in a team based environment.
