Under general direction, maintains knowledge/information in a physical library and/or a computer-based system (e. g. , intranet). Performs subject classifying and cataloguing of various types of media. Responsible for records management including developing and managing record retention policies, practices and procedures. Designs and implements programs and policies to ensure timely delivery of information services including printed, nonprinted and electronic materials. May act as project leader.
Reviews the requirements of all sales orders, engineering bill of material and specification sheets for the products assigned. Create and maintain log of requirements to ensure all requirements are met. Track and mark partial completion of requirements until all have been met. Obtain NDE and heat numbers from parts during the manufacturing process. Collect and compile NDE, material reports, test reports and charts, paint reports, etc. for data packages. Create Certificate of Conformance and material reports as required. Approve the final release of product and furnish data packages for the shipment. Must follow all safety guidelines in regards to fellow employees and equipment. Must perform operations within time standards. Ensure that products are being produced to quality standards. Other duties assigned by supervisor.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Minimum of one year experience in quality control documentation
Must be familiar with the American Society for Mechanical Engineers and American Society of Testing Materials standards.
