The Production Manager works in the Business Services Unit. This role is responsible for the management and coordination of plant operations consistent to improve the facility's performance and production.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Including but not limited to):
Plan, organize and direct production operations.
Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures.
Fulfill business objectives and schedules while meeting or exceeding product quality standards.
Implement manufacturing plans that support Urban Robotics' strategic initiatives.
Establish accountability throughout the department for high product quality, efficient problem solving, and cost effectiveness.
Encourage continuous process and quality improvement.
Manage spending against budget.
All other tasks as assigned.
? BBA / BS Degree (technical degree preferred) or equivalent years of direct experience.
5 plus years of experience in a low volume or custom manufacturing environment.
3 years of supervisory/managerial experience.
4 years of experience working with computer systems and servers.
Experience with camera equipment / systems / hardware....a plus.
Experience in the implementation of Inventory Management and Bill of Material Systems.
Excellent verbal/written communications skill and ability to positively influence people across all functional areas of an organization.
Proficient with MS Office
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing techniques and processes
Quality inspections down to component level
