Overview of Position : Chemtura has an opening for a Production Scheduler with 1-3 years of experience in chemical manufacturing or related industry. This position is responsible for developing manufacturing schedules (contract and internal) and communicating planned schedules to contract manufacturers and in-company manufacturing units. In addition, this position will initiate, track, and manage transactions and deliveries for in-company manufactured, contract manufactured, swapped and third party purchased products for the Antioxidants and UV Stabilizer product lines. Primary Responsibilities : · Develop production schedule/plan to meet expected demand · Communicate production forecast and released schedule to contract or in-company manufacturing · Manage contract execution and PO execution to ensure compliance with contractual terms of the relationship · Manage inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock is on hand, yet balanced with inventory targets · Manage resale schedules and procurement documents · Maintain transactional data for resale products · Creation of process orders and purchase orders in SAP / and closing PO’s · Processing goods receipts · Tracking material consumptions · Calculating material balances on manufactured products · Monthly inventory reconciliations (to meet Sarb-Ox requirements) including records retention · Interface with Customer Care and Logistics on material status · Interface with Purchasing on partner relationship and PO creation · Interface with Supply/Demand Managers on required supply of materials · Create BOM’s for manufactured materials in SAP · Manage process for new tolled materials in SAP · Other business support activities including DTR/DTP reporting, inventory reporting, US forecast consolidations when required, COPA extractions/reports, SOIP metrics reporting, ad hoc queries/reports in support of SOIP activities, demand planning support and forecast consumption support

Required Skills or Abilities : In order of importance, list the specific skills or abilities which a qualified individual should possess (e.g., computer literacy, subject knowledge, etc.). · Bachelor’s Degree, preferred · 1-3 years experience in work related field · SAP/ERP experience · Ability to work with and prepare reports using Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint) · Attention to detail – significant use and management of information and data · Some travel required · Ability to effectively interact with Chemtura partners via phone and e-mail · Self-directed individual, who is capable of taking minimal direction in order to complete required tasks · Ability to understand and work with standard industry MRP and MPS planning tools
