TITLE: Production Supervisor Burlingame

REPORTS TO: Production Manager

JOB SUMMARY: (the purpose of the role)
The Production Supervisor will assist the manager in planning and prioritizing daily job assignments and training and developing employees and participants.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (Accountabilities = the WHAT. Search out, recommend and implement process improvements and assist manager in resolving personnel issues and conflicts
Adheres to all safety practices and reports any hazardous conditions to the Safety Department immediately.
Maintain isles and workstations clear of safety hazards.
Effectively supervises, trains, and evaluates the transitional workforce.
Coordinate with the Production Manager regarding client’s needs and expectations Work with Production Manager to create training programs that advance the department’s product knowledge.
Set production levels for employees and help them achieve production goal
Perform data entry and maintain needed inventory reports
Resolve product and equipment issues
Assures timely preparation of shipments and compliance of production standards
Keep an accurate inventory count in timely manner
Participate in department planning meetings.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: (education, work experience, and technical competencies)
AA degree or minimum of (2) years experience in a warehouse environment related field
Minimum of (1) year of experience in leading and supervising work processes in a warehouse operations.
Basic knowledge of donation categories and high-end brand names.
Must be organized and with good communication skills and the ability to solve issues as they arise
Must have product knowledge in men, women & children’s fashion
Must be an independent thinker and show initiative.
Must possess follow-up and reporting skills.
Ability to learn computer and data programs and able to use Microsoft Office and email.
Must be able to work flexible schedules to support process demands, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to work with a diverse and challenged workforce.
Respects and has knowledge of cultures, ethnicities, gender, sexual orientations and age groups other than one’s own, able to work effectively with all.
