Production Support Analyst
The Production Support Analyst is responsible for improving the Company's performance and ensuring the stability of our products through trouble shooting software issues for applications which are in production as well as detailed testing and deployment of software changes. The Production Support Analyst is responsible for support of the production environment regardless of whether the application us utilized by internal or external end-users. The Production Support Analyst is also responsible for assisting in maintaining the stability of the production environment by identifying root cause and escalating high priority issues as needed.
Maintain stability of production environment by troubleshooting software application issues, identifying root cause of problems, and escalation or resolution of high priority production issues.
Understand company applications and demonstrate expertise in bypassing/resolving application issues. Responsible for documenting organizational systems for mutual understanding.
Communicate with internal and external customers via telephone and email to understand system defects and to facilitate problem resolution.
Engage Product Management and Application Development teams to lead process changes.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent related work experience.
1-2 years of production support experience.
Experience retrieving data from a database and analyzing it. Experience troubleshooting systems issues with both internal and external customers. Proven customer service skills.
