Immediate Hire Long Term could turn perm Production Support IT Support Specialist II bull Tier II Support of Production Applications bull Support tasks include alert monitoring opening trouble tickets general escalation client coordination vendor bull Develop and run SQL database queries to investigate data related issues and support user adhoc requests bull Assist with planning and testing of application configuration and database changes and installation of upgrades and patches bull Operating in shift based setting where job execution is 247 bull Work with internal and onshore development and Business teams to determine root cause of batch job execution problems bull Must have problem solving skills and be capable of breaking down complex situations to discover and resolve root causes this applies to both technical issues and process issues Must be able to read and understand Java code and be able to provide fix recommendations to the development team Good communication skills both verbal and writing with the ability to discuss issues with users and management Performcoordinate all Production Application maintenance Monitor Level 2 issuestickets opened internally and by customers for application issues Experience with UNIX Java and Oracle applications Experience with AutoSys Job Management for scheduling monitoring and reporting Knowledge of UNIX Shell and Korn scripting for automation of tasks Strong knowledge of Unix Oracle Autosys UNIX, Java, Oracle Applications
