Detailed Description
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
The technician is responsible for completing manufacturing assignments as directed by the Manufacturing Supervisor or Manager. Typical duties and tasks must be completed in compliance with the requirements of IsoTis Production Records (IPR), Work Instructions (WI), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) per current GMP’s, QSR and company policies and procedures.

Job Requirements ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Primary responsibilities are to:
Supports formulation build of products and/or the Demineralization process. Supports the Accell component builds. Follows SOP requirements for cleaning, labeling, and sealing of processed units. Assists in all Production Tech I duties Assists with general daily cleaning, restocking supplies, daily environmental/equipment monitoring or other duties as assigned. Follows Company policies and procedures compliance.
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required for his position.
Education : High school diploma or GED. Certifications: None. Experience : Medical Device Experience required (1-2 year(s) minimum) Abilities and Behavior Individual must be punctual and have reliable attendance
Individual must be cooperative and willing to work in a team environment
Must be able to follow direction provided by authorized supervision
Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Must be willing to learn different jobs in the manufacturing environment
Must be able to perform repetitive task(s) consistently and proficiently
Must be able to speak and read English with excellent understanding
Must be able to keep legible and correct documentation of activities
Must understand basic weight and volume measurements and calculations
Must be proficient in tasks performed (after suitable training period) and have attention to detail

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED The list of tools and equipment in this section include, but are not limited to, tools and equipment which the employee may require to perform essential duties and responsibilities of this position.
Biological Safety Cabinets (BSC) and Laminar Airflow Workstations (LAW) equipped with vacuum and compressed air lines. Product filling machines Automated mixers Sealing equipment Grinders Balance scales, printers, timers, and stir/heat plates pH meters Torque equipment Freezers and walk-in refrigerators Freeze dryers (Lyophilizers)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical requirements listed in this section include, but are not limited, to the motor/physical abilities and skills require of position in order to successfully undertake the essential duties and responsibilities of this position. While undertaking the essential duties and responsibilities of the position, the employee must repeatedly sit, walk, bend, stoop, stand, listen, write/type, sedentary grasping, near acuity and move throughout the facility. The employee must be able to periodically lift and/or move boxes/bins of weight up to 50lbs. The employee will also be required to follow special gowning requirements for that of a restricted/controlled working environment (also known as a clean room environment) while performing essential duties and responsibilities of this position.

ADVERSE WORKING CONDITIONS The adverse working conditions listed in this section include, but are not limited to, those environmental conditions to which the employee may be exposed while undertaking the essential duties and responsibilities of this position, which is that of a general manufacturing environment.
Adverse exposure may result from the handling of hazardous and biohazardous materials that include, but are not limited to, disinfectant detergents, flammable and corrosive liquids and/or granules, compressed liquids and/or gases, sharps, and medical wastes.
Due to the equipment in use, the employee may also be exposed to some noise level to which the use of hearing protection will be provided.
