The Dow Chemical Company in West Alexandria, OH has exciting
opportunities available as Production Technicians.

The Production Technicians will be expected to run all Production
processes and assist as needed in Shipping and Receiving, as well as in the QA
Lab. The IDS certification process will be used to ensure

Production Technicians are certified in the following processes:

¨ Polyester Kettles

¨ Polyester Autoclaves

¨ 24H

¨ Building 2

¨ Building 9 & 10 Equipment

¨ Raw Material Weigh Up

¨ Shipping/Receiving (limited functions)

¨ QA Lab Tech (limited testing, i.e. solids, viscosity, moisture,
etc.)

It is important to also note that while Production Technicians are
expected to be certified in all processes in the production area, they will not
have an assigned process and will be assigned to any process/work area at any
time and for any duration as the work load or discretion of your supervisor
dictates. These assignments are not limited to the processes or departments
described above and may include such activities as housekeeping, painting,
development of procedures, etc. which are additional responsibilities for all
operators.

As a Production Technician you will also be expected to:
1. Perform special assignments as directed by the shift supervisor
or production manager.

2. Teach, train and certify operators in the correct use of
processing equipment and process techniques.

3. Teach and train operators in the following areas:
a. Safe operating practices/procedures

b. Use of PPE

c. All emergency procedures

4. Assess equipment problems and submit Maintenance Requests for
repairs as needed.

5. Diagnose process and mechanical problems and recommend or
initiate corrective actions.

6. Must follow all work instructions and Standard Operating
Procedures accurately.

7. Assist shift coordinator in maintaining housekeeping standards.

8. Ensure efficient and safe operation of processes you are
involved with on a daily basis and ensure meaningful shift turnovers with the
incoming shift.

9. Make arrangements and/or provide relief for operator absences.

10. Assist shift coordinator and/or other departments in any other
duties or projects as assigned by the shift coordinator.

12. The Utility Operator will share responsibility with the
Materials coordinator for the overall performance of the shift in the areas of
safety, quality and productivity.

13. Perform per all Health, Safety and Environmental policies

including:
a. ¨ Adhere to all Operator EHS Roles and Responsibilities.

b. ¨ Work in a safe manner without injury or illness.

c. ¨ Work in a safe manner without injury or illness.

d. ¨ Know and understand the chemicals you are working with.

e. ¨ Know, understand and use proper PPE for every job, which may
include goggles, hard hat, respirator, safety glasses, gloves, etc.

14. Quality:
a. ¨ Follow all work instructions and documents accurately.

b. ¨ Initiate process change requests as required for continuous
improvement of process and equipment.

c. ¨ Complete Quality Deviation forms as needed.

d. ¨ Know, understand and follow the Plant Quality System
requirements.

As a Production Technician, our goal is to have you ISD certified
in half of these processes within the 1st nine months of being in the position.
By 18 months, our goal is to have you ISD certified in all of the above
processes. The Utility Operator will receive $1.00/hour premium for their
willingness to learn and ability to be certified in all processes above.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or general
education degree (GED) required; related experience is a plus.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and
divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and
decimals.

Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple
instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to
carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions and the ability
to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized
situations.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral
vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The position is
regularly required to wear a respirator.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly
works near moving mechanical parts and flammable liquids. The employee is
occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock, and to extreme heat or cold.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability
to work legally in the United States on a permanent basis (U.S. citizen, U.S.
Permanent Resident, or Qualifying Asylee/Refugee).
