Education or Training Required: Two years working with adults and/or in a
production environment preferred; experience in food industry necessary.
Must be able to communicate in English, Spanish and or Dialect.
Authorized Training Required: Forklift / Pallet jack / Lockout / Tag out
Fall Protection / Hog Pusher / Product Reconditioning / Blood borne Pathogens
Skills Required: Will conduct new employee orientations in Spanish and/or dialect.
Ability to accurately explain all company policy and procedures. Teach knife safety/knife
skills and proper use of PPE. Accurately translate all safety rules. Assist in Human
Resources and/or with Production managers as necessary. Translate in monthly
line meetings as requested.
Summary of Job Duties/ Responsibilities:
Conduct new hire orientation, including training in policies, procedures, safety and
equipment. Must be able to interact with varied groups of new hires and be fluent
in English, Spanish and or dialect. Will work flexible hours on either A or B shift
as the need arises. Will continue to work with a specific groups of employees
following oreintation to assure thorough understanding of safety rules, job skills,
PPE, policies and procedures. Job duties include but are not limited to the above and
can change upon discretion of company needs and plans.
