Education or Training Required:
Must have extensive knowledge of the main chain jobs and processes; minimum
one year kill floor experience.

Lockout / Tag out
Blood borne Pathogens

Minimum one year kill floor experience in a pork facility required.
Must have knowledge of all main chain jobs and USDA rules and regulations
Good interpersonal skills are necessary. Bilingual is preferred.
Must have ability to read/write English and interpret documents such as safety rules, plant
rules and procedures.
Summary of Job Duties/ Responsibilities:
Training of new employees on knife and job skills: cooperating with Quality Assurance
and USDA on pre-op of starting of operations.
Daily safety checks of areas of responsibility: Assuring all personal protective
equipment meets safety standard: Maintaining equipment in working order.
