Productivity and Engagement Technologies Architect:
Responsible for the implementation of Pall's intranet to meet key employee productivity and engagement objectives.
Responsible for the transition of five Lotus Notes developers to web developers
Responsible for defining and enforcing the web development practices and standards for the Web and Digital team.
Responsible for ensuring that Pall Corporation has stable and high performing web and digital platforms in support of employee productivity and engagement.
Responsible for the overall set up of the web and digital architecture related to Productivity and Engagement Technologies.
Be adept at different Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC)
Accountable for gathering business requirements and translating them into functional and technical requirements to meet the business objectives.
Provides global support via service desk for implemented solutions.
Focus on ensuring an easy to use platform for Pall employees that leverages user friendly interfaces and empowers collaboration within the company.
Identify opportunities to connect the employee portal with our external facing properties with the goal of making it easier for our customers, suppliers, vendors and partners to do business with Pall.
Provide technology leadership in creating a more effective business environment and contributing to optimizing the Pall "Value Chain"
Main Duties include:
Actively research the latest standards, technologies and practices related to improving employee productivity and engagement. Apply knowledge of the latest standards, technologies and practices in the design and implementation of web and digital platforms and systems that support employee engagement. Work closely with and present to business stakeholders, The Director of Web and Digital Media and the technical teams.
Candidates must have knowledge and key skills using:
Agile/Scrum, Continuous Integration
Open Source technologies
Use Case requirements gathering
ISS Web Server, Apache
SQL Server, MySQL
Extensive knowledge and experience with Windows and Linux servers
Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
7-10 years of programming experience with at least 3-4 years web development experience and 1-2 years of architecture design and systems integration. Experience working in a global IT department. Demonstrated knowledge in a wide variety of web and digital related technologies. This person will work on the most complex support issues. Candidates must have knowledge of Lotus Notes, Sharepoint, Autonomy Teamsite/Livesite, Autonomy Idol, Mobile Development and web analytics experience is a plus.
This role may require travel overseas and off hours work may be required.
