An international law firm is seeking a Professional Development Assistant to provide administrative support to the professional development team. The successful individual will be responsible for administering professional development and training programs. To qualify for this opening, candidates will need a Bachelors Degree and one to two years of administrative experience in a professional setting. The ideal candidate will also possess strong computer skills and have exposure to database search and data entry, preferably a human resources or learning management system. (CE Manager a plus!) Responsibilities for the Professional Development Assistant will be to act as liaison for training and professional development with Firm committees, practice groups, administrative departments, attorneys and staff throughout the Firm. Serve as point of contact for internal presenters and outside consultants and vendors, handle program scheduling, registration, and logistics including conference facilities, food service, technology and A/V equipment needs, keep financial records, and assist with department budget analysis.
