This position, Professional Development Trainer, is responsible for the supervision of several of the agency's client service employees in the group life and health division. This position is closely involved with producers and has great influence in achieving synergy and employee satisfaction.
Professional Development Trainer, Group Benefits Supervisor Responsibilities
Oversee the work performance and team dynamic of customer service representatives and benefits account managers dispersed throughout several agency offices in NC, VA and TN.
Provide training with regards to account management procedures, handling escalated customer issues and organization of work priorities.
Create dialogue between the sales and service team; serve as a sounding board and create solutions to correcting customer service errors.
Auditing work files to catch inaccuracies, avoiding Errors & Omissions and maintaining compliance with company Best Practices.
Professional Development Trainer, Group Benefits Supervisor Requirements
Bachelor's degree is preferred with at least five (5) years of group employee benefits insurance experience.
Team leadership, supervisory or management experience over non-sales, service employees is required.
Familiarity with successful insurance training platforms and work flow improvement processes centered on effective customer service.
Demonstrated ability to successful correct work performance, reinforce positive behavior and build teams centered on effective interpersonal communication.
Must be willing to travel; overnight travel on a monthly basis is required.
