Position Description:
The Department of Economics at the University of Chicago invites applications for full-time tenured Professors (any field). These positions will begin in the 2013-14 academic year. Applicants must apply on line at the University of Chicago's Academic Career Opportunities website at: http://tinyurl.com/bsyout6. Applications are required to include a cover letter, three letters of reference, curriculum vitae, evidence of teaching performance such as teaching evaluations, a teaching and research statement, and three published or unpublished research papers.
Review of applications will begin on October 1, 2012 and will continue up to June 30, 2013, or until the positions are filled. Early application is strongly recommended. Only short-listed candidates will be contacted. The Faculty Search Committee will conduct interviews at the 2013 ASSA meetings to be held in San Diego, CA on January 4-6, 2013. Final candidates will be invited for an on-campus visit.
