Provide administrative, clerical, and customer service support within the recertification team. Primary responsibilities include: processing customer recertification applications; evaluating continuing education programs for appropriateness based on PTCB policy requirements; processing name change requests; assisting stakeholders in verifying the certification status of pharmacy technicians; maintaining and organizing electronic and paper files; resolving customer service issues; assisting with the production and distribution of department communications; and providing general office support to the certification department.

Function 1

Assist with the implementation of recertification policies and procedures - (70%)

· Review recertification applications for completeness.

· Evaluate applications for compliance with policy requirements, including the research and evaluation of continuing education programs as needed.

· Communicate application deficiencies to applicants.

· Identify, investigate, and correct record discrepancies and errors.

· Maintain documentation of activities; keep electronic and paper files organized.

· Identify and implement process improvement to increase efficient and/or customer satisfaction.

· Monitor daily progress metrics.

· Assist with other department functions as assigned.

Function 2

Assist in resolving customers and stakeholders support requests – (30%)

· Resolve customer and stakeholder support requests via email. Phone and fax.

· Utilize multiple information sources, paper and electronic, to identify and confirm requested information and ensure accuracy.

· Evaluate required information and documentation provided by customers in conjunction with support requests; e.g. name change documentation.

· Review outgoing communications for accuracy and consistency with internal guidelines and style guides.

· Assist stakeholders in verifying the certification status of pharmacy technicians.

· Interpret program policies and requirements.

· Assist with other department functions as assigned.
