The College of Engineering at Iowa State University is seeking qualified applicants for a Program Assistant II to contribute to the operations of the Engineering Career Services Office. This position is responsible for leading the data collection and reporting efforts, which includes student employment statistics, recruiting figures, and office performance indicators.
This position will also have primary responsibility for overseeing the operation of the online career services management system, CyHire, used by students seeking professional employment and employers. The person filling this position will serve as the campus-wide coordinator of the user-group that administers this system. In addition, the Program Assistant II will utilize this system to deliver student and employer services.
Additional duties include providing administrative support to the office, helping to execute two large career fairs each year, and providing customer service to students and employers.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and the ability to work effectively as a team member. The candidate will also have an interest in developing a thorough understanding of a software program and a willingness to manage system upgrades and issue reporting.

Bachelor's degree and 1 year of experience; or a combination of related education and experience totaling 5 years. Experience must be comparable level and directly related to the duties of this position.
Experience working with computer database systems
Experience analyzing and presenting data with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Training or experience in career services, human resources, or employment recruiting
Experience with ISU policies and procedures
Minimum $33,676; commensurate with qualifications
