This Program Assistant will coordinate the day to day office functions related to the MR unit located in the Greentree Office. Incumbent must possess the ability to serve in a variety of administrative capacities and participate in and assist the Director in achieving the goals and objectives of the unit by assisting supervisors and staff across the MR teams in maintaining organized and functional units. Responsibilities will include:

*Assisting Director in compiling monthly progress reports; attending staff meetings; preparing minutes; proofing typed materials; composing short memos/letters; taking meeting minutes; receiving and screenings calls.

* Assisting supervisors/staff in creating and coordinating weekly meeting agendas/usage of meeting rooms; establishing mail and email distribution lists; preparing letters and memos; collecting, synthesizing and presenting data and information; receiving, screening and sorting mail/correspondence; preparing outgoing mail; collaborating with supervisors/staff for special projects/reports.

*Maintaining a professional atmosphere by providing consistent front desk reception area coverage.

*Acting as a liaison between offices.

*Supporting MR functions related to the various MR teams including: recertification, HCSIS review, initiative activities, MR Duty calls, large mailing, copying/assembling projects, coordinating trainings/events.

* Acting as the point person in coordinating all new account information and new application/software requests.

* Participating in record purging and scanning activities.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in business or public administration, plus 2 years of experience in personnel, finance, business or human resources field or the completion of a business school curriculum, plus 3 years relevant experience. Excellent communication and organizational skills, along with basic computer skills and knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and email usage are key. A self-starter with the ability to work independently to initiate tasks to be completed within the unit is also important.
