VSE GLOBAL Division is looking for a Program Analyst who is capable of providing program and operational, performance, assessment and measurement, and budget formulation and execution in support of program operations and advising management on the overall effectiveness and efficiency of programs and operations.
Support the Global Division, project managers and employees in a timely manner to satisfy the administrative, functional, and technical requirements of the program and customers. Requirements include preparing, estimating, and assisting with execution of assigned tasks (delivery orders/work orders); providing cost and schedule analysis of all assigned tasks; reporting status (Monthly Status Reports); assisting with preparation of presentations and maintaining liaison with GLOBAL client NAVSEA and subcontractors.
Prepare and process travel documents requirements to provide accurate and complete response to travelers' needs. Coordinates all international and domestic travel for Program Personnel with supporting Travel Agency. Coordinates and tracks individual itinerary changes. Prepares pre-travel documents and necessary paperwork to arrange advance travel payments. Upon traveler's return receives and organizes all expense documents to ensure timely submission of travel documents. Prepares completed travel ACC-10 and ACC-1 forms with all supporting documents in proper format and forwards to Accounting for processing and payment. Receives tracks and disburses travel payments to individual travelers.
Conducts the normal administrative functions of the program, to include, but not limited to, distribution of mail, processing the Program Manager's correspondence, and producing documents (i.e., correspondence, memos, forms, etc.) required to manage the program’s activities. Provides support to Program personnel in the preparation and review of correspondence, documents and contract deliverable documents, as required. Coordinates room requirements for customer and internal Program meetings to include arrangements for refreshments. Orders special items to support customer requirement, as required
In addition the candidate must have:
Knowledge of and skill using MS Excel and commercial statistical, analytical, and reporting packages to evaluate, develop, and monitor budget requests.
Skill applying quantitative and qualitative techniques for measuring the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of program results.
Skill interpreting and applying accounting, financial and statistical principles and requirements to develop plans and measure results.
Abilities to plan, coordinate, develop and document procedures for new and existing program requirements.
Skill communicating effectively both orally and in writing, in presenting results and making recommendations.
Candidate shall have a Bachelor's Degree in Management or Finance or equivalent years of experience. Five (5) plus years experience in DOD analysis techniques is preferred.
Candidate should have professional working experience in a commercial/government business environment. Should possess the ability to plan and organize effectively, be a self starter who can work independently with effective writing and verbal skills.
Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
