Job Description Summary
This position has scheduling flexibility and is eligible for part-time benefits.
An individual can work 35 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (Mid-August through mid-May).

The other option is 26 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Please indicate your schedule preference within your cover letter.

The Program Coordinator assists in the coordination of program management activities including planning, delivery, and overall administration for the Undergraduate Career Center. Up to 50% of this role will include a specific focus on the Management Consulting Field Experience ( MCFE ) program. Success will be achieved by working closely with the CCD team to deliver quality student experiences and to identify opportunities for process improvements.

Essential Responsibilities
• Event management: Manage event logistics, planning, and room scheduling for MCFE program, and Career Advisor and Peer Career Ambassador programs. Events may include workshops, seminars, Experience The Industry trips, speaker series, social/networking functions, meetings, and specialty courses, etc.
• Course management: Upload materials to the learning management system (Blackboard) such as project descriptions, course material information, and student group assignments; plan and develop curriculum materials including course packs and class schedules which involves coordination of faculty and administrators; and collaborate with partner offices to successfully plan and deliver programs, as requested.
• CCD support: Participate in and support a range of CCD efforts in coordination with the campus recruiting program, Career Advisors, and the Graduate CCD office which includes assisting, as needed, greeting employers and students to the recruiting office; organizing events; identifying volunteers; and confirming and communicating logistics with participants.
• Faculty assistance: Supports MCFE faculty with kickoff and end of term events.
• Front desk assistance: Provides occasional coverage for front desk needs including answering phones and scheduling student appointments with Career Advisors.
• Vendor & travel partner management: Negotiate, manage, and maintain relationships with key vendors (i.e., travel, catering, room reservations).
• Assumes additional responsibilities as required.
Minimum Experience
Education Requirements:
Minimum Level of Education Required: Associate’s degree
Position Knowledge/Skills & Abilities Requirements:
• A minimum of 2-4 years of similar experience
• Must have program management skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must have a strong attention to detail
• Flexibility and willingness to assume new tasks and special projects
• Strong technology skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
• Able to work with culturally ethnically, culturally, and socially diverse students, staff, faculty, and other constituencies
