Description Under the direction of the Principal Investigator/Program Director of the Boston Nutrition Obesity Research Center, the Program Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the NIH-funded Center. This includes interactions with central offices as well as providing program support to the Center’s PI/PD, Associate Directors, Core Directors and Pilot and Feasibility investigators in addition to regular communication and outreach with the Center’s research base including faculty, trainees and students. The Center Administrator will also provide pre- and post-award grant support to the Principal Investigator/Program Director.
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent combination of formal education and experience) required.
Minimum a minimum of 2 years related experience.
Knowledge of non-profit program coordination, monitoring and evaluation is a plus.
Experience with grants administration a plus
Experience with creating (or at least organizing newsletters and websites.)
Ability to be self-directed, prioritize essential tasks and balance numerous responsibilities.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills, including and ability to work with individuals from a variety of disciplines, and on a variety of levels.
Excellent oral and written communication
Proficient with standard Microsoft programs (i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook) and web browsers.
