POSITION TITLE : Program Coordinator
DEPARTMENT/DIVISION: Center for Lifelong Learning
POSITION SUMMARY: Assistant with the management and selection/organization of the CREDIT review teams, including national coordinators and faculty reviewers; coordinate the support functions for the review teams as they carry out assigned reviews.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES OR TASKS:
Secures college faculty members and other qualified professionals to serve on review teams by using the CREDIT database
Supports communication with reviewing organization to schedule review dates and check reviewers’ resumes.
Assists the Associate Director(s) with researching course content areas to determine review team qualifications.
Prepares review team and organizational packets for course and exam reviews; coordinates activities between evaluators, review team coordinators, and the organizational contact. This includes, but not limited to coordinating travel and hotel accommodations.
Assists with the development of agreements, collects appropriate signatures, and tracks review team agreements for coordinators and review team members.
Provides outstanding customer service through written and oral communication to meet clients’ needs, to maintain and build goodwill.
Serves as a member of the Content Review Committee.
Collects, updates, and distributes resumes for participating faculty.
Drafts review-related correspondence, reports, forms, presentations, and other materials as needed.
Notifies authorized personnel to make updates in the CREDIT database.
Updates and assists in maintaining the evaluator database.
Performs related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
Strong interpersonal and superb communication skills, oral and written; demonstrated proficiency and enthusiasm in use of technology and software applications (Microsoft Office-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, database experience) to support CREDIT reviews and back-end process; demonstrated project planning experience.
Strong consideration given to candidates with extensive experience and knowledge of post-secondary credit transfer practices, military transcripts, academic records, transcript policies, curriculum design, evaluation practices, and program marketing.
Associate’s degree preferred. A minimum of two years of work experience in relevant area.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL EFFORT: Office Environment, 10% travel required
