Summary: The Program Coordinator acts as a liaison to the Program Manager who directs and manages the flow of the programs focus on specific customer accounts. The coordinator also acts in a customer service capacity for the customers programs to ensure that implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with specified objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities: Plans and develops methods and procedures for implementing programs, coordinates program activities, and exercises influence over specific functions or phases of the program. Reviews program status with Program Manager and Executive Management to explain program status, performance metrics, and potential issues.
Individual will be responsible for coordinating personally, or through other support personnel, activities regarding to implementation and carrying out objectives of program. Reviews and creates reports and records of activities to ensure progress is being accomplished toward specified program objective and modifies or changes methodology as required to redirect activities and attain objectives. Reviews proposal information, program reports, and data and provides recommendations for the Program Manager and Executive Management. Responsible for meeting cost, quality and delivery metrics and objectives.
Qualifications: Engineering Degree or equivalent technical experience preferred. Three to Five (3-5) years’ experience in Program Management, Product Management or related field required. Experience with military and commercial cable and harness manufacturing, design, and support highly preferred. Candidate must have strong computer and communication skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
