The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualities, as well as demonstrate competency in the following areas:
-Provide leadership and direction to ensure the delivery of high quality and appropriate services to clients, to maintain the financial viability of the program, and to represent the program internally and externally as needed.
-Will have a high degree of motivation, creativity, and enthusiasm. Must be self directed and well organized and able to manage time well.
-Will fulfill the responsibility of supervision of assigned programs and staff; ensuring programs and staff meet goals successfully.
-Follow policies and procedures, licensing and accreditation requirements and functions as an effective component of the total organization.
-This position requires that the Program Coordinator have the ability to impart the vision of comprehensive service delivery to children and their families and provide leadership toward that vision.
-Maintains clinical expertise in children and family issues, and trains staff in continuous learning of related issues.
Must possess a Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling or related Human Service area.
-Must have a minimum of three (3) years of documented full-time child-placing experience under the direct supervision of a person fully qualified to conduct child placement management staff activities.
-Must have a minimum of two (2) years post graduate experience; two (2) years prior management or supervisory experience in delivery of social or mental health care services to children and families preferred.
-Must be a LCPAA or be eligible to obtain within three (3) months of hire.
