HealthFitness has a new opportunity for a full-time Program Coordinator at our client site located in Springhouse, PA. As the Program Coordinator, you will work closely with the Program Manager to ensure delivery of programs and services as outlined in the contract and annual business/program plan. You will use a variety of resources (i.e. “L” Drive and other approved resources) to identify, coordinate and evaluate programs according to the client contract at the assigned account. You will a ssist the Program Manager with the development of annual Business and Program Plans, using standard programs and resources, participate on the integrated Partnership Team (Occupation Health, EAP, Wellness, Ergonomics, Safety & Industrial Hygiene), work in cooperation with Program Manager to support operating company business goals/business partnership, and assume the Program Manager role in their absence.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Have a working knowledge of contract obligations and client’s needs.

Lead stretch break sessions and engage employees in programs and services.

Keep abreast of the variety of resources, industry trends and tools available to ensure program success i.e., “L” Drive; Tobacco Free Workplace Toolkit; Online programs, PIQ; HealthMediaÒ; e-platform.

Support customized strategies to achieve Global Health metrics.

Promote, implement and evaluate health education programs, events and bulletin boards based upon site needs, customer requests and health profile results.

Manage operations of the fitness center, which includes and not limited to, equipment maintenance, purchase supplies and facility upkeep.

Support and/or manage all fitness center activities, including membership recruitment and retention, group exercise program, and personal training program.

Provide group exercise instruction, exercise prescriptions, health/fitness testing, individual lifestyle coaching.

Manage My Live For Life Administrative Web site, which includes but not limited to, queries and data input.

Track facility usage and program participation.

Prepare Monthly, Quarterly and site-specific reports.

Recruit and mentor interns.

Assist with the development of the annual integrated Business Plan.

Support onsite wellness team (partnership), as needed, to ensure coordinated delivery of services.

Assist Program Manager, upon request, and assume Program Manager duties in his/her absence.

Perform site-specific payroll responsibilities, as deemed appropriate, by Program Manager.

Deliver New Hire Presentations and health awareness presentations, upon request.

Participate, as needed, on short-term projects and/or teams.

Supervise interns and contractors delivering group exercise, personal training, and/or specialty classes.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education, Experience and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in health/fitness related field required.

CPR and First Aid Certification preferred, but required within 60 days of hire.

1 year experience in health promotion/fitness center supervision, preferably in a corporate setting.

Excellent customer service skills.

Demonstrable skills and experience in program planning, development management and evaluation.

Strong leadership and excellent communication skills (including verbal and written).

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Proficiency in fitness assessment, group exercise instruction and exercise prescription.

Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills including the ability to motivate others.

Competency in the delivery of HealthFitness and site-specific programs and services.

Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including, at minimum, Word, Excel and Outlook.

Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team with enthusiasm, initiative and creativity.
