Responsible for the oversight and management of the International Education Center (IEC). Provides support to faculty and students in following established processes and procedures for study abroad and exchange program opportunities. Conducts research on venues and destinations to support faculty and study abroad campus plans. Promotes and recruits students and faculty to participate in the program through effective marketing. Conducts student orientations. Works closely with campuses' planning committees, District offices, and IEC review committee to execute approved study abroad campus plans. Coordinates with campuses' and district Academic Affairs to offer study abroad courses and assists in marketing of the courses. Maintains IEC website. Creates and disseminates reports to the college.
Minimum of a Master's degree required.
Minimum of four years related experience required.
Must have the ability to implement and manage programs, and the ability to work with diverse populations and varying education levels.
Detail oriented, good problem solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong time management skills are all required.
Required Computer Skills:
Study abroad administrative experience strongly preferred.
