The Director, Program Management will be responsible to oversee the game portfolio for a single Studio to ensure projects are on schedule, on budget and scope is in line with plan. In this role, you will manage the GDF gates, actively identifying risk for projects and impact on the business. This person will report into the VP of Worldwide Studio Operations.

As a part of the Studio Operations group, the Program Management team partners with the Game Studios to ensure smooth process for development launch planning/execution and live game management. As a Studio central team, the Program Management team collaborates with various stakeholders including FP&A, Product Strategy Leadership, Business Development, Studio Management and Platform to implement best practices.

Day to day:
Own and manage the GDF process and gates to guide projects to launch

Work collaboratively with Studio game development leadership and project managers on a regular cadence to track project progress

Aggregate best practices to implement across the organization

Manage the release calendar of projects to ensure smooth work process with central shared services such as tech operations and platform teams

Spearheads resource management for cross-Studio allocations and training programs to continuously invest in the Studio development teams

Career Progression:
This role is a senior-level position. The candidate who excels in this position will find a more integral role on the Program Management team, being a part of making recommendations for the Studio portfolio, assessing the risk/reward profile for various projects for First Party Development. A partner to the Game Studios, the role will also work with Studio Leadership on resource planning.

Bachelor’s degree required; Masters is a plus.

Years Experience:
8-10+ years of experience as a producer or a lead project manager across multiple games

MUST Have Experience:
Experience with online live games preferred

Management experience of multiple direct reports

Management by influence of people in multiple disciplines

Flexible and agile, ability to adapt quickly and be effective in new situations in a highly dynamic environment

Proven experience in assessing issues and risks in a complex project across multiple disciplines including technology

Familiarity with variety of front and back end technologies

Strong project management skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize

Strong oral and written communication skills

Passion for F2P online games
