Program Manager, Collaboration Systems - DAN000157 OPCO Description

      Description
      POSITION SUMMARY:

      Seeking a strong Program Manager to lead effort to revitalize collaboration systems with Sharepoint being the focal point platform. The individual selected for this role is to execute overall program, working with different stakeholders, business sponsors, operating companies, and systems development team in overseeing full project life cycle. Should have extensive working experience executing enterprise level programs with SharePoint. The qualified candidate must have excellent skills in the areas of project estimation, developing project planning strategies, establishing milestones / schedules, maintaining & reporting project status, interpersonal skills, and monitoring activities of all team members. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as good relationship building abilities.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Develops/proposes project/program solutions

      • Provides project leadership and program management functions

      • Provides project subject matter expertise

      • Presents weekly project status updates (status, budget, scope, issues) to the Project Sponsors and Internal management

      • Develops and ensures the quality of project deliverables

      • Establish guidelines and monitor/report on metrics and milestones for project

      • Resolves issues/escalate as required

      • Drives cross-functional initiatives from a high level Corporate perspective

      • Supports/identifies project/program management best practices and process improvements

      • Partners with IT and Architecture groups on all development activities

      • Manages resources remotely

      • Manages and enforces governance plans and social business strategies

      • Strategizes designs, communicates and implements technical solutions that leverage SharePoint and other collaborative platforms within the organization.

      • Evangelizes the adoption of new collaboration solutions.

      • Supervises the design and development of data and application integrations between data sources and applications.

      • Delivers presentations at meetings and other functions, as required

      • Forecasts resourcing & staffing needs and effectively utilizes all available resources QUALIFICATIONS:

      • Extensive experience in executing large/critical enterprise level programs

      • Extensive project management skills, PMP certification preferred

      • Strong project and team leadership skills

      • Strong communication and organizational skills

      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

      • Effective problem solving and risk management skills

      • Extensive experience with SharePoint 2010, certification preferred.

      • Strong experience in change management planning and delivery

      • Strong experience in engagement planning and delivery

      • Experience with application/development integration

      • Technical background preferred for purposes of being an effective liaison between IT and other business functions.

      Qualifications
