The Program Manager is accountable for the successful implementation of the full suite of Crimson healthcare intelligence tools. This position requires a unique combination of information technology, project management, and healthcare expertise.
The Program Manager will plan and lead the execution of complex multi-product implementations in an SaaS environment. The successful candidate will have deep experience integrating diverse talent and multiple implementation methodologies into a single, unified implementation team to ensure successful product deployment. The Program Manager will work directly with Members’ senior leadership teams, and must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. The successful candidate must possess strong leadership experience and must be driven to succeed. The Program Manager will be a decisive leader who can balance member and internal priorities to drive results while maintaining scope, budget, and schedule goals. Experience with hospital and physician practice healthcare information systems is highly desirable.
Providing capable, confident, and credible leadership ensuring successful implementation of Crimson healthcare intelligence solutions.
Demonstrating ownership and accountability for project success.
Establishing productive relationships with both Member and ABC colleagues.
Managing expectations and establishing the vision for implementation success jointly with Member and internal teams.
Partnering with ABC Delivery and Executive Partners to ensure technical implementations support Members’ business goals and ROI plans.
Developing implementation strategies tailored to the nature and accessibility of Member data.
Integrating geographically dispersed implementation consultants to create a single, unified implementation team.
Creating, executing, and tracking complex, integrated project plans.
Identifying project resource needs and assigning individual responsibilities.
Managing scope, risk, issues, and changes to deliver on-time project completion.
Developing creative strategies to overcome project issues and keep projects moving forward.
Developing and executing communication plans to guarantee visibility to all project stakeholders.
Preparing and presenting project status reports to executive stakeholders and project teams.
Executing within defined methodologies and enforcing standards and procedures.
Informing product direction by sharing Member needs with Product Management.
Coordinating with Development to schedule the delivery of new key product features.
Developing expertise in Crimson products and expanding healthcare marketplace knowledge.
Contributing to continuous process improvement and best practice development.
Bachelor’s degree in technical, healthcare management, or business discipline.
7+ years full lifecycle software implementation project management.
Demonstrated experience leading multiple complex projects simultaneously.
7+ years Information Technology and Healthcare information systems experience.
5+ years deploying business intelligence and data centric IT solutions.
7+ years executing one or more software implementation methodologies.
7+ years office productivity tools experience (Excel®, Word®, PowerPoint®, Outlook®, Project®).
7+ years of senior-level Member partnership experience.
5+ years leading geographically dispersed technical teams in a matrix staffing environment.
Ability to travel up to 30% as needed (valid driver’s license required)
Healthcare experience and understanding of issues affecting healthcare in the US.
MBA, MS Information Technology, or MA Healthcare Management
Functional understanding of database management and Business Intelligence systems (SQL, data acquisition, ETL processes, etc.)
Professional experience working in Hospital IT or for a Healthcare Informatics Vendor.
Healthcare experience and deep understanding of issues affecting healthcare in the US.
Understanding of healthcare workflows at the hospital and physician practice level.
Working knowledge of Healthcare data exchange formats and processes (837P, HL7, CCD, etc.).
