Under the direction of the Clinical Director, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the Metro Boston Recovery Learning Community, a new peer-driven, multi-partner initiative charged with providing a wide variety of consumer-to-consumer services for people with mental illness.
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Prefer Peer Specialist Certification or willingness to obtain certification
3-5 years direct work experience
Prefer lived history of recovery;
2 or more years managerial/supervisory experience.
Knowledge of community resources and public health promotion, disease prevention interventions, professional education approaches helpful.
Cultural sensitivity and comfort with a wide range of social, racial and ethnic populations
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to guide, direct, mentor, train and work collaboratively in a team building environment.
An organized work style and ability to keep written documentation.
Proficiency with computers/PC's and a variety of software applications including word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail and other compatible applications; ability to learn additional software packages.
Ability to travel evening and weekend hours, as required.
