We specialize in high speed data processing, digital signal processing for high end military sensor systems, including imaging, radar and sonar processors. We are seeking a talented and motivated Program Manager to manage a complex and growing torpedo defense program.
The Program Manager is responsible for managing all cost, schedule, and technical aspects of the program, and must be well versed in project management best practices. The Program Manager will manage complex technical development efforts, business assessments, risk analysis, procurement planning, and proposal development. The successful candidate must be capable of performing financial, schedule, technical, and risk management, with a firm understanding of Contracts, Earned Value Management, and scheduling principles.
The Program Manager will work closely with Technical Directors, Business Area Directors, and Program Staff to accomplish the program and Company objectives. This position requires an emphasis on the internal execution of existing business, as well as the external pursuit of new and follow-on business.
A strong technical background and a minimum of 15 years of relevant program and technical management experience
Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects that involve diverse teams to accomplish program and organizational objectives
Business development experience including customer interface, development of opportunities, team building, and proposal development
All positions require the ability to obtain the appropriate personnel clearance (i.e., U.S Citizenship required)
Preferred Specific Experience:
Project Management Institute (PMI) or Government Acquisition certification and experience with a variety of project lifecycle models and contracting vehicles
Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
Some travel may be required.
