Role Overview:
Amdocs is looking for a Consulting Manager, Program Manager to join the Amdocs Consulting Division and be part of something new, fresh, fast-paced and growing. The role of the Consulting Manager is to lead teams in the development and delivery of telecom solutions. Develop Prime best practice tools and methodologies.

Program managers oversee scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of organizational programs.

They may aid with proposal development, contract negotiation and contract compliance.

Proposal preparation may include assisting with plans, specifications and financial terms of the contract.

They may assist with business development initiatives.

Program managers ensure master plans and schedules are followed, developing solutions to program challenges, and directing others for successful completion of project on time and on budget.

This role should be able to understand the bigger picture as a Prime Systems Integrator. He/She will need to identify, develop and document tools, methodologies, processes and/or templates to deliver Prime services. This role needs to ensure methodologies and toolsets to support Prime-related functions across all entities including Amdocs, Clients and third parties. He/she will need to consider all elements of support ranging from basic processes to how information is shared through a firewall, etc.

This individual may be asked to support one or more key functional areas such as developing standard contracting templates, SLAs, reporting, Issues/Risks Management, Communications Planning, etc (based on individual subject matter expertise).

Ideally, the candidate will have strong program management experience and can transition into delivering and assisting in business development activities, development of proposals, etc.

However, this role could potentially be filled by a temporary resource (ie – utilize a resource from another Amdocs organization or contractor) to develop certain deliverables.

Requirements:
Strong Program Management Skills

Background in Telecommunications industry

5+ yrs relevant work experience with a minimum of one year recent consulting expertise required

5+ yrs experience in IT integration, telecom billing, OSS, Call-Center, and CRM solution definition, design, development and delivery (Clarify, Amdocs or other CRM and billing packages essential)

Demonstrated expertise in the successful delivery of transformation, change management and business process reengineering

Proven ability to manage teams

Proven ability to provide knowledge transfer, thought leadership and solutions and translate complex technical issues into compelling business benefits

Must be willing to travel up to 100%

Preferences:
Big 5 consulting experience highly preferred

Strong project/program management skills, $2-5M preferred

Proposal and sales development experience within a services environment preferred

Strong customer facing skills, ability to influence and motivate clients and employees, excellent oral and written communication skills

A four year college degree required with advanced degree preferred
