The Archdiocese of St. Louis has an opportunity to join the Respect Life Apostolate office. This full-time position resides at the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO.

The Program Manager is responsible for planning and coordinating designated programs and events sponsored by the Archdiocesan Respect Life Apostolate. The ideal candidate is a team player with the staff and volunteers within the Archdiocese's pro-life ministry. This position coordinates and/or provides guidance to programs, including, but not limited to the following:

Maintain content for website, Facebook and e-news

Oversee High School Outreach

Write/Edit articles for quarterly Pro-Life Profile

Coordinate annual Respect Life Convention sub-committees

Oversee Internship Program

Spiritual Support:
Participate in monthly Helpers of God’s Precious Infants Mass

Assist with annual Adoption Mass

Distribute USCCB intercessions and bulletin inserts (Word of Life)

Assist with annual Commemorative Mass

Coordinate event associated with annual March for Life DC trip

Pastoral Care:
Assist with planning and facilitating 5 parish coordinator meetings per year

Facilitate calls for Project Rachel/Project Joseph ministries

Coordinate Lifeline Coalition educational materials

Public Policy:
Coordinate registration for annual Pro-Life Assembly Day

Review and distribute Public Policy Action Alerts

Coordinate special projects

Qualified candidates for this position will possess a minimum of Bachelors degree, proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability work effectively and collaboratively with volunteers, other church agencies and ministries. This position requires some scheduling flexibility; including occasional nights and weekends will be required for major events. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail as well as an ability to see the bigger picture. Additional requirements include practicing Catholic who is well versed in the church teachings on life issues, strong project management skills and prior religious education experience.
