Embody a key role at a dynamic, fast-growing, venture-backed company with a global reach in an enterprise Information Technology space
Enable the full release management cycle from release definition to delivery to a global base of Fortune 2000 clients
Work side-by-side with an extremely talented technical team to bring game-changing technology to an ever-increasing enterprise customer base
Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee successful and on-time completion of product releases, from conception to rollout
Partner with the Product Management team regarding desired functionality requirements and priorities for upcoming releases
Work with the Product Development team on feature-request assessments and further definition of technical requirements
Coordinate with the Product Development team regarding key dates and checkpoints in product delivery
Track release status, identifying potential roadblocks and opportunities to streamline the process
Communicate release status to the Product Management team and work on adjusting milestone targets and priorities
Coordinate quality assurance, technical writing, and support readiness efforts related to the release
Collaborate with sales engineering, support, and customers on early-access release initiatives
Required Qualifications and Experience
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or related work experience
Program management, project management, or development team experience
Familiarity with release management tools, such as bug tracking systems and project management software
Comfort communicating about systems-level and user-interface product development efforts with both business-level and engineering-level stakeholders
Attention to detail, ability to juggle multiple tasks, and ability to communicate status to multiple stakeholders effectively
Strong leadership skills, with ability to build consensus and drive key product initiatives within a fast-paced engineering team
Ability to adjust to changing requirements and priorities
Excellent writing and diagramming skills, with the comfort and desire to create and maintain system specifications and UI mockups
Strong understanding of network-communications concepts, such as the OSI communication model and common L7 wire protocols
Strong understanding of components comprising enterprise IT applications, such as 3-tier architecture, web services, and so forth
