Opportunity for a strong IT Program Manager who can establish a vision in the teams and lead them toward achievement of that vision.
Establish and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
Pull together plans from all workstreams and develop a comprehensive plan covering the entirety of scope. Ensure plans are robust and achievable.
Manage the various team members to that plan, identify and escalate issues as needed, and keep things moving forward.
Across multiple projects, track key project milestones and adjust project plans and/or resources. Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
Manage third party vendor and external customer project deliverables
Provide oversight to other Project Managers in project planning, resource planning, assigning projects, and providing support to direct report project managers, up to and including reviewing performance, and monitoring continuous improvement plans. The qualifications:
5+ years of experience working as a Program Manager and hands-on Project Manager, with 8 + years of experience in IT is required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent work experience
PMI PMP certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is preferred
The person we need will also demonstrate superior communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
Successful candidates are flexible and do not require a rigid black and white methodology.
Ability to oversee and manage large, complex, diverse and strategic projects that impact the organization as a whole.
Demonstrated ability to document, prepare, and deliver data-driven presentations.
Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues.
Candidate must be able to think on their feet and remain cool, calm and collected when dealing with project issues. The technical:
