Description: The role of the Program Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize major site programs to the defined timelines, technical objectives and budgets. This includes insuring resources are available and coordinating efforts of team members both locally and in other locations in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Program Manager will be the primary focus for PIP exit reviews during the program lifetime.
Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
Help define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Put together the PIP1 – 4 exit review documentation, getting the needed information from the critical program stakeholders.
Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
Manage NPI demand and priorities, supporting NPI quarterly S&OP planning process.
Where required, negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company.
Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
Plan, schedule and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
University degree or college diploma in the field of Electrical Engineering or similar technical education.
3-5 years minimum work experience in a program or project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
Experience managing moderately complex product development efforts preferred
Competent and proficient understanding of optical transmission product development is preferred.
Project Management or Program Management Certification desired
Database querying experience a plus
Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

Strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
