Group O’s Supply Chain Solutions division has an immediate opening for a Program Manager in Mendota Heights, MN. This role is responsible for project management activities to plan, coordinate and manage project execution from conception through to user acceptance testing, deployment and post launch support. The PM will champion the project within the facility. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Creating clear and attainable project objectives, building project requirements, and managing the project’s scope, time, cost, resources, communication, and risks.
•Mobilizing a team to develop and execute a detailed project plan.
•Maintaining current and complete Project Management data and documents.
•Identifying obstacles and constraints that impact the project and develop appropriate contingency plans.
•Ensuring that all stakeholders understand status and issues and create regular project status reports.
•3-5 years in a project management role.
•Proven track record of project delivery.
•Excellent verbal and written communications and presentation skills.
•Excellent organizational skills.
•Excellent team and strategic leadership.
•Demonstrated decision-making, analytical and problem solving abilities.
•Ability to communicate with all levels of internal associates, customers, suppliers, and other business partners.
The following are preferred:
•Warehouse and operational experience
•Experience working with technologies supporting supply chain and operations management (e.g. warehouse management systems, ERPs)
•Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
•Project Management Institute's (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desirable.
•Experience with formal continuous improvement programs. (Lean, Six Sigma, and Quality Management).
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent experience.|
