The Program Manager is responsible for developing appropriate programs and behavior plans as well as supervising their implementation. The Program Manager works closely with the Clinical Director in order to determine goals for each child. The Program Manager continually monitors their assigned teams and each child’s progress in order to provide the most relevant programming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Creates, writes and supervises implementation of new programs
  • Updates existing programs
  • Creates individualized behavior support plan under the supervision of Clinical Director
  • Monitors implementation of behavior support plan and provides feedback as necessary
  • Assists with functional assessments/analyses
  • Ensures VB-MAPPs are completed and results are charted
  • Creates data sheets as needed
  • Writes 6 month progress reports
  • Captures and contrives opportunities to teach staff and children in the natural environment and teaches others to do the same
  • Participates in assessment process and writes programming portion of the assessment
  • Provides 1:1 ABA therapy as needed
  • Attends and participates in parent team meetings, therapist meetings, trainings and other meetings as requested by Clinical Director or Executive Director
  • Provides information about programming to parents
  • Attends IEP meetings as requested by Clinical Director
  • Participates in research and presentation opportunities at local and national conferences
  • Works collaboratively with other members of child’s treatment team and family
  • Communicates with Team Leader, Primary Therapist, Training Coordinator, Clinical Director and/or Executive Director regarding all developments, problems or concerns as needed and responds appropriately to feedback
  • Keeps children safe at all times
  • Provides and maintains an environment free of emotional, physical and sexual abuse. Reports any incidents or suspicions to Clinical Director or Executive Director
  • Completes and submits required documentation in a timely manner
  • Graphs collected data
  • Offers feedback on staff performance reviews
  • Assists with new staff training
  • Assists the Training Coordinator with scheduling therapists as needed
  • Acts as a positive role model for all staff, families and children working with LSC
  • Works to positively impact team spirit and overall morale
  • Maintains client confidentiality per LSC policy and HIPAA Privacy Rule Regulations
  • Adheres to all LSC policies and procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director or Executive Director
Educational Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in ABA or related field
  • Board certification in behavior analysis (BCaBA or BCBA) or currently enrolled in BACB approved certification program of study
  • Experience with behavior and programming for children with autism
  • Possess strong attention to detail for data collection and report writing
  • A positive team player and energetic professional
  • Strong organizational and time management skills along with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Good judgment and creative thinking skills
  • Ability to communicate appropriately given the circumstances of the situation and individuals involved
  • Discretion in matters that need to remain private
  • Ability to train others (parents, staff) in basic principles of ABA, curriculum, programs, etc
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
