CEO is seeking candidate who will act as an advocate for Early Head Start and Head Start families whose children are presently enrolled in the program. Candidate will be responsible for assisting with development of goal plans for participating families, for promoting self-sufficiency and for working with the families to help them succeed in their goals.

Candidate must also have the ability to form therapeutic relationships with children and families from diverse ethnic, racial and cultural backgrounds and demonstrated skills in communication, as well as ability to work effectively and cooperatively with a multi-service agency.

Position details: 35 hours per week, 10 month schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS: Associates Degree in Human Services or related field is required along with a valid, clean drivers license and regular access to a vehicle. Preferred: Bachelors Degree in human service field plus prior experience working with families in an advocacy role.
