Duties listed are at the full performance level.
Enters data from hand written field notes and field computers into new and existing databases and manages data for report retrieval. Handles office correspondence and prepares a variety of recurring and one-time reports. Consolidates information and prepares a variety of recurring and one-time reports. Prepares quarterly, midyear, and annual budget reports and revision and prepares funds requests. Assists with the formulation of the budget and interprets budget instructions and provides Program Managers with data necessary to prepare annual budgetary input. Performs staff support and advises on the practical and technical aspects of office administration.
You must possess the Basic Requirements identified below to be considered eligible for this position. Transcripts must be provided for qualifications based on education. Your application or resume must clearly show that you possess the appropriate experience requirements.
GS-05: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-4. Examples include: Performing general clerical support such as greeting visitors, maintaining files, and typing letters; assisting in the analysis of incoming routine and controlled correspondence, including mail, facsimilies, and documents; reviewing sections of agency or organizational directives and procedures to perform routine tasks such as correspondence work, filing and processing mail.
GS-06: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-5. Examples include: Establishing and maintaining official program files from initial receipt of materials to closeout and disposition of the files; completing support work in the area of human resources or correspondence control; assisting with scheduling and monitoring of procurement transactions for the full range of standard items and services to meet the organization's needs.
GS-07: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-6. Examples include: Making recommendations for procedural changes to established procedures used in clerical or administrative work processes, such as correspondence control methods, or office workflow improvements; serving as an organization's focal point for coordination of all procurement activities with central administrative staff; planning and coordinating a variety of office support services; assembling and preparing routine written products; assisting in researching or analyzing well-established or procedural program issues by performing duties such gathering background information or preparing standard reports; reviewing program records and data.
