Serve as Program Support Assistant in the Occupational Medical and Physical Fitness Section, Medical Fitness Office (MFO).
Perform a variety of medical administrative functions to include: resolution of case management inquiries; receipt and solicitation of medical correspondence; and coordinating with the Section Chief and the Medical Advisor in the preparation of official staff notifications related to medical matters.
Assist the Section Chief with the maintenance, surveillance, and analysis of Occupational Medical program issues within the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA).
Routinely communicate with physicians, case managers, and other allied health professional staff using sound, interpersonal skills while maintaining awareness of sensitive information.
Use computer software to update demographics and produce specific reports for management.
Maintain health records in accordance with existing laws, regulations, and instructions, ensuring all necessary forms and documents are present, accurate, and complete.
Perform a variety of receptionist, record keeping, and miscellaneous duties to support various medical programs to include, but not limited to: reception of visitors to the Medical and Fitness Office, answer phones, secure sensitive fax information, refer calls to appropriate staff or record messages, and manage office appointments.
