We are seeking a talented Programming Writer to join our team and communicate important platform changes to our partners. As a member of this team you wlil engage directly with various feature owners and write content for areas such as boot, hardware, drivers, phone customizations, and application development. Your deliverables will include release notes, feature/scenario overviews, and walkthroughs.
    Necessary skills:
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Experience reading and writing code in C/C++, C#, Objective-C, and/or Java including the ability to develop low-level system sample applications
  • Experience using developer tools such as Visual Studio or Xcode
  • Passion for modern consumer technology including smartphones
  • Interest in learning and documenting new technologies
    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong interest in design and development of device drivers or applications for mobile platforms (actual experience a plus)
  • Understanding of OS internals and driver architecture of a mobile OS like Android, iOS, or Windows CE
  • Ability to develop documentation from source code
  • At least 4-5 years’ experience writing developer or engineering-focused documentation (e.g. whitepapers)
  • Ability to easily adapt and thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • A desire to engage directly with internal and external partners
    Additional requirements:
  • 5+ years of expereince
  • BSCS/BSCE/BSEE or other scientific degree with equivalent work experience
  • Must be willing and able to provide exceptional customer service, including direct interfacing with clients
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Must enjoy a dynamic work environment
  • Ability to learn fast and work independently
  • Good multitasking and priority management skills
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting, problem solving and analytical skills
