Provides programming support for business applications as assigned. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.

Position Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education/Experience:
Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.

Bachelor degree or experience equivalent to the completion of four (4) years of college coursework in computer science, management information systems, or a closely related field or equivalent work experience.

Must have at least four (4) to six (6) years RPG III, IV and ILE programming experience in an AS/400 environment;

OR

Must have at least four (4) to six (6) years graphical programming experience in a Microsoft Windows or Internet/Intranet environment.

Strong SQL database and analytical abilities required.

Microsoft .Net Programming Experience a plus.

ASP.Net Programming Experience a plus.

Experience with report writer software desired, Showcase report writer preferred.

Previous experience working in a casino is preferred but not a

requirement.

Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.

Previous customer service experience required.

Previous experience providing IT support required.

Must be able to maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations.
