Position Description:
Full-time, 12 months per year. This position is designed to perform system analysis and computer programming which supports the college's administrative offices. Support and enhance the college's ERP (enterprise resource planning system). Apply appropriate computer technology to solve business problems. Work closely with personnel in administrative offices to develop new computer programs and systems or to modify existing ones. Program applications using procedural and object-oriented programming languages. Use web development tools such as HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Use Oracle development tools such as Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, PL/SQL, and SQL*Plus. Perform Oracle database programming including programming stored triggers and procedures. Analyze complex business systems to determine system requirements. Participate in the design of computer-based systems in support of business operations. Communicate effectively with college personnel concerning active projects. Assist users after the implementation phase. Produce technical and user documentation. Troubleshoot application system failures.

Qualifications:
Required: One of the following: Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field An Associate's degree in a computer-related field with two years of relevant job experience. Coursework or experience with systems analysis and design. Coursework or experience with both procedural and object-oriented programming. Coursework or experience with web development tools (including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript). An understanding of relational database theory. Good written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred: Working knowledge of Oracle development tools (including PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports). Ability to construct complex SQL statements. Working knowledge of Java, Groovy, Java Enterprise Edition, Grails application framework, Ajax techniques, or XML. Experience with Ellucian's Banner student information system or any other student information system (SIS) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. Sound knowledge of Windows systems and MS application software. Experience with Unix or Linux. A proven ability to quickly learn new languages and skills. Experience producing high quality documentation.

Additional Information:
Salary: $41,176 – 46,328, commensurate with qualifications and experience, plus excellent benefit package.
