The Programmer Analyst provides and utilizes technical skills across the life cycle of programming requests (analysis, design, programming, documentation, testing, implementation and support). This position utilizes SharePoint for new and/or improved applications, including converting existing systems and expanding the SharePoint footprint within the company and its partners. This role works directly with several departments to meet their specific programming requests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, develop, customize, upgrade, convert, and support .net applications and SharePoint to replace existing systems and to address additional business applications
Provide technical analysis to enhance current business processes.
Collaborate with business partners to understand needs to jointly develop solutions.
Research existing and emerging SharePoint tools, strategies, and 3
Provide end-user support services, as needed, including, but not limited to, training, documentation preparation, troubleshooting and consultation
Associate’s certificate with a major in Applied Sciences, or Computer Programming with4 years programming experience; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
2 years experience developing and supporting applications on a SharePoint 2007/2010 platform, familiarity with components such as web parts, templates, forms, content management, and workflows.
Ability to work in multiple operating environments includeding Microsoft operating systems i.e. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access , and Unix.
Experience in web application development and ERP, MRP or supply chain applications required.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Increase knowledge in the area(s) of programming languages and databases.
Knowledge in the administration and maintenance of the SharePoint security model.
Experience in SharePoint integration with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, HRIS) and other existing applications and/or databases.
Ability to type and program code to support the business decisions and computing needs.
Demonstration of strong organizational skills; ability to work effectively under extreme stress; ability to effectively manage programming requests simultaneously.
Ability to provide timely and accurate information to the computer operations staff and end-users regarding programming, its effects on operations and its effects on end-user processing.
Ability to provide informative and professional assistance when working with the public/customers and co-workers; ability to provide excellent internal customer service.
Ability to develop and maintain positive interpersonal relationships, which encourage openness with customers and peers and with co-workers, staff, clients and the community to meet or exceed expectations.
Demonstration of excellent written and oral communication skills.
Demonstration of attention to detail and a high sense of accuracy; ability to create accurate, professional and error-free documents; ability to type and enter data accurately
