DESCRIPTION

Position Summary: Assume responsibility for the development and modification of assigned computer software applications.

Employment Terms:
Twelve month work year. Salary based on the Progression Increment Salary System, Market Range 8 with a salary range of $54,771 to $62,629 annually.

DUTIES

Essential Functions and Tasks:
Code, test and implement assigned computer software applications.
Test and debug software applications.
Modify existing programs to conform to system changes or to make improvements in the existing programs.
Monitor performance of programs after implementation and make changes as necessary.
Write and maintain documentation to describe program development logic, coding, testing, changes and corrections.
Provide second and third-level technical support for assigned computer software applications.

QUALIFICATIONS

Job Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
Four or more years of related experience.
Experience with Microsoft technologies such as SQL Reporting Services, .NET and SharePoint.
Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods of time and properly operate required office equipment such as a personal computer, fax machine, copier and the like.
